Taking a fresh approach to acoustic music, yet an approach whose roots date back as far as mountain music can reach, The Biscuit Burners offer "fiery mountain music" with innovative instrumentation, resplendent harmonies, and captivating originality. Their unique, yet familiar, material draws equally on  their respect of traditional mountain music, their love of bluegrass and classic country, and their appreciation of music from the far corners of the world. (Several band members have studied music in India.)
