Getting your tickets
Tickets typically go on sale 3 to 4 weeks before a performance, and we usually discount tickets purchased before the day of the show. Note that the advance purchase discount applies to tickets that are actually purchased, not simply reserved. As of September 2007, tickets could be purchased at these locations:

At ticket outlets other than CSPS, it's a good idea to call ahead to make sure the tickets you want are available. (Certain events are only sold at CSPS.) If you run into problems, let us know by calling 319-364-1580 or email us. Businesses who sell our tickets don't make a profit doing it. We thank them for their support and hope you will too.

To charge by phone, call CSPS at 319-364-1580. CSPS accepts the American Express Card, Visa and MasterCard. To reserve tickets or resolve ticket-related questions via email, you can write to tix@legionarts.org. To purchase tickets by mail, send a check to CSPS, 1103 Third St SE, Cedar Rapids, IA 52401.

For most events at CSPS, full-time students 21 and under can purchase a ticket for only $5, at CSPS, one hour before the show . ID required, must be 21 or under, limit one ticket per student.

Except where noted, performances take place at CSPS, a renovated Czech social hall located upstairs at 1103 Third Street SE, downtown Cedar Rapids. CSPS is an all-ages, non-alcoholic venue seating up to 170. Seats are available on a first-come, first-served basis. While there is no elevator, a chair lift is available for those who need it. Coffee, tea, soft drinks, cookies and candy bars are available for purchase.
