Her vocals have been compared to Janis Joplin and Grace Slick. His blues-inflected guitar work has been likened to Jimi Hendrix, David Gilmour and Joe Bonamassa. Siblings originally from Upstate New York, Jocelyn & Chris Arndt have taken their latest record to #1 on the Jambands Top 30, cracked the Billboard Triple A Top 40, and this spring made their national television debut on NBC’s Today Show. The pair, both recent graduates of Harvard University, balanced their college course work with performances from coast to coast, as well as recordings featuring the likes of G. Love, Gov’t Mule’s Danny Louis, and Cory Wong of Vulfpeck. Together with their band, they’ve opened for Delta Rae, Gin Blossoms, Rick Derringer, Orleans, Marc Cohn and others. They’ve wowed audiences at Sundance, Summerfest, SXSW, and Mountain Jam Music, while earning critical raves from Baeble, Huffington Post, Paste, People and The Hollywood Reporter. Today described the duo as “Putting a millennial spin on classic rock.” Says Music Connection, “Put simply, Jocelyn Arndt’s is the complete voice. She possesses incredible power, depth, tone, range, and control ― a baffling set of skills.”
