Make your way to Off the Wall 2007, Legion Arts' whimsical fall
fundraiser, Saturday Oct
13.
This impossibly fun event at CSPS will see the live auction of
outstanding works by more than 35 artists.
The accompanying silent auction features unique arts and entertainment items.
Your $25 ticket gets you scrumptious hors d'oeuvres.
You'll also enjoy beverages from
Cedar Ridge Winery and Millstream Brewing Co. ... sway
to live
music .. and have we mentioned the great art available for purchase?
The silent auction, which runs from 7:30 to 9:30 pm,
will
feature items from Cedar Rapids Museum of Art,
Theatre Cedar Rapids, Cedar Rapids Opera Theatre, Cedar Rapids Symphony,
Liar's Theatre, the National Czech & Slovak Museum, area restaurants, Panera
Breads, and many more.
A live auction, starting at 8:30, includes works from local, regional and
national artists.
Off
the Wall 2006 is sponsored by
Shuttleworth Ingersoll, Collins
Community Credit Union, Village Bank and Modern Gallery &
Frame. Your hosts for the evening are Sue Millar and
Peter Ryder.
Serving as auctioneer is the lovely and
accomplished Libby Slappey.
