Since 1992, on the edge of downtown Cedar Rapids, a small theatre in an old Czech social hall has hosted some of the most exciting music in the Midwest. Week after week CSPS assembles, from across the country and around the globe, the finest young singer-songwriters ... rising stars of Celtic, Cajun and country music ... astonishing instrumentalists ... audacious pioneers of electronic and experimental sound ... true legends of world music.

We've introduced Eastern Iowa to Dar Williams and Ani DiFranco, Solas and Tarika, Yungchen Lhamo, Martin Sexton, The Mollys, Catie Curtis, Savage Aural Hotbed and The Nields. And if that weren't enough, we've done it in an environment that's as professional as it is unpretentious, providing you with seats that are close up and truly affordable.
